Design that’s inspired by the unexpected

Studiopepe, a design agency founded in Milan in 2006, have created a collection of furniture that pays the uttermost attention to detail.

Their designs are inspired by the unexpected, drawing on its founders’ (Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto) common interest in anthropology and the study of ancient artifacts from cultures of yore.

Some of the pieces featured at Cocolea include the Philip Centre Table – a perfect marriage of wood and marble, the Fitzgerald Modula Sofa – inspired by the shapes of Italian architecture, and one can’t forget, the Virginia Armchair, a perfect example of mid-century modern design.
